The Costpoint Administrator supports the CNI Corporate Accounting Department (IT Financial System Administration). This position is responsible for the operational processes, maintenance and security access of Deltek Accounting system and supplemental resources. The Costpoint Administrator also provides system analysis and user support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides system administration and analysis for the Deltek’s accounting application (Costpoint).
Works with end users to determine new system requirements, prepare requirements documentation, functional design, use cases and implementing system customizations.
Develops test plans, coordinates and conducts testing, documents testing results, develops implementation plans and implements new software configurations.
Assists users in developing training and process documentation and conducts training.
Provides end user guidance and support for the application.
Troubleshoots reported issues, gathers information, updates help tickets, and escalates to vendor support as needed.
Manages application software lifecycle which includes upgrades and patches.
Develops and maintains solution architecture for CostPoint system.
Runs and analyzes application administration reports.
Completes other duties as assigned.
Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company.
Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and managers instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output.
Responsible for keeping own immediate work area in a neat and orderly condition to ensure safety of self and coworkers. Will report any unsafe conditions and/or practices to the appropriate supervisor and human resources. Will immediately correct any unsafe conditions to the best of own ability.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of four (4) years’ relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education / experience. Experience with system analysis and testing of Deltek Costpoint preferred. Experience with SQL Server, MS Excel/Access report writing software.
