    The Instructor delivers a myriad of Army Special Operations Forces (ARSOF) training requirements for the Guardian Centers training center at Perry, GA or at US DOD installations throughout the U.S via Mobile Training Teams (MTTs). This position uses qualifications in US Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) to provide instruction in courses including: Military Mobile Force Protection Training (MMFPT), basic and advanced tactical mobility programs of instruction. The Instructor also teaches advanced courses such as: CBRNE, hidden weapons, evasive driving, vehicle rollover, expedient field armoring, tactical off road or unimproved road driving, vehicle sabotage inspection, route analysis and reconnaissance, surveillance and counter surveillance operations, US and Foreign weapons, combat shotgun, advanced night training and low profile urban warfare operations.



    Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

    Interfaces across all facets of the Guardian Centers organization to ensure precise support of USASOC client activity. This includes establishing timelines, instructor and client support, and providing a safe and secure training area. The Instructor maintains detailed understanding and capabilities of the entire venue to support planning and project management.


    Coordinates with USASOC units, training managers, contracting officials and other instructional team members in support of ARSOF training deliveries. The Instructor coordinates training requests with each requesting unit to ensure understanding of requested training needs and Mission Essential Tasks (MET’s).


    Advises the MMFPT Program Manager regarding outdated tactics, techniques or procedures (TTP’s) relative to each program of instruction. Participates in curriculum reviews upon request and assists with curriculum changes across the ARSOF platform.


    Effectively instructs courses and conducts realistic training scenarios related to military mobile force protection, counter vehicle ambush skills, driving, firearms, and other advanced courses for ARSOF personnel.


    The Instructor utilizes broad domain special operations knowledge in military mobile force protection utilized to support effective training for Army Special Forces students. Must also understand and constantly evaluate student safety during high risk training operations.


    Establishes and maintains excellent rapport with the company’s customer base through various communications obtaining feedback, correcting potential issues and seeking new opportunities. Ensures high quality work is provided, on-time and at a fair price.


    Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company.


    Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor’s instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output. 


    Responsible for keeping own immediate work area in a neat and orderly condition to ensure safety of self and coworkers.  Will report any unsafe conditions and/or practices to the appropriate supervisor and human resources.  Will immediately correct any unsafe conditions to the best of own ability.



    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training and/or experience in military mobile force protection and ten (10) years’ ARSOF experience in planning, operations or conducting training.


    Graduate of the US Army Special Forces Assessment and Selection Course with relevant USASOC operational field experience in current theatres of operation (i.e., deployments to Afghanistan, Africa, Iraq, etc.) within the last five (5) years.


    USAJFKSWCS or similar instructional and/or curriculum development experience preferred.



    Must be able to hold Top Secret/SCI DoD security clearance or equivalent.


    Must be a former Army Special Forces (ARSOF) soldier and graduate of the US Army Special Forces Assessment and Selection Course.



    Possess working knowledge of Government and DoD organizations, policies, regulations and needs


    Ability to build relationships with DoD professionals in the field of expertise


    Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to create effective presentations


    Ability to work effectively with others to achieve goals and to serve as a liaison with both internal / external customers


    Ability to assess needs, provide assistance, resolve problems and satisfy expectations


    Ability to organize work, set priorities, and handle multiple projects


    Skilled proficiency using Microsoft Windows / Office (i.e., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.)


    Ability to work independently or in a team environment



    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public. 



    Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.



    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
